The George W. Reagan Company was selected as the design / builder for Gibbs Rural Metro Fire Station through bid / negotiation in order to meet the Owner’s budgetary restraints. The design team worked with the Owner and Rural Metro in order to minimize the required square footage while improving the functionality of the space. The construction consists of a mix of wood framing and masonry bearing walls, pre-engineered wood trusses, reinforced concrete slab on grade, and masonry brick veneer. The interior finishes include painted gypsum board and masonry walls, vinyl composition tile, and carpet.
