The George W. Reagan Company was selected as the general contractor for the Gatlinburg Retail Center by competitive bid. The challenges presented by this project included a tight construction site, schedule and construction during the tourist season. These challenges were overcome, and the project was completed on time. The construction consists of reinforced concrete slab on grade and deck, masonry block, structural steel beam and columns, steel joist, steel roof deck, EPDM roofing and dimensional shingles @ mansard, exterior insulation finish system, decorative wrought iron railings, and stone masonry.
