All-Size Corregated – Pennsylvania

George W. Reagan Company was contracted as a design/builder for All-Size Corrugated’s New Office and Warehouse after completing the first project for the parent company Buckeye Corrugated in TN. After selection, George W. Reagan Company assembled a team of subcontractors and vendors in order to explore the best building / construction options for the owner’s consideration. Working in conjunction with the owner, the design team, subcontractors, and vendors, we have provided an attractive, cost effective, and functional building for the owner’s use. The building features include ex-posed structural steel framing in the state of the art office, R-30 insulation at the front office area, architectural standing seam metal roof panels, carpet tiles, reflective epoxy floor, curtainwall storefront window elements, and the use of canopies / sunscreens to hold cooling costs to a minimum. The manufacturing/warehousing area consists of a Varco Pruden pre-engineered metal building with SSR standing seam roof and a single slope design. Site features include “no mow grass”, infiltration storm drainage, and multiple detention ponds.

Knoxville Christian High School – Gymnasium

George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the construction of the new high school gymnasium by negotiation. This building combines pre-engineered building components (clear span main frames and mechanically seamed metal roof), wood roof trusses and wood stick framing in order to provide a functional, yet attractive structure. The building boasts a seating capacity of 1,000, has two full basketball-volleyball courts in the vertical direction, one championship court in the horizontal direction, four classrooms, and a new music room. The championship court has been named the “Wade & Allan Houston Court at Knoxville Christian School”. By utilizing brick, painted split faced concrete masonry units, and EIFS the exterior of the building blends well with the existing campus. Interior finishes consist of a wood gym floor, vinyl tile, carpet, painted gypsum board, prefinished wood doors, and acoustical ceilings.

Alice Bell Baptist Church Family Life Center

George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the Alice Baptist Church Family Life Center by negotiation. This building combines pre-engineered building components (clear span main frames and mechanically seamed metal roof), wood roof trusses and wood stick framing in order to provide a functional, yet attractive structure. The building addressed the church’s need for a larger meeting space, additional educational space, fellowship hall, rough in for future kitchen, and recreational basketball / sport court. By utilizing brick and painted split faced concrete masonry units, the exterior of the blends with the existing campus. Interior finishes consist of a wood look vinyl plank, vinyl tile, carpet, and painted gypsum board.

Fairview Baptist Church

George W. Reagan Company was selected as the contractor for the educational addition at Fairview Baptist Church through negotiation. After selection, GWR met on several occasions with the church and the design team in order to establish and maintain a tight budget. Budgetary constraints, restrictive site conditions, and a schedule that commenced in the winter months were challenges that were overcome with cooperation between the design team, the contractor, and the owner. The space features several classrooms as well as space for future growth.

Advanced Catalyst Systems

George W. Reagan Company was selected as the design builder for the Advanced Catalyst System’s building addition. The pre-engineered addition includes a production area, restrooms, rated corridor, and a new dock. Masonry walls combined with metal wall panels, the standing seam roof, and the aluminum storefront windows provide a structurally sound yet aesthetically pleasing exterior. Careful planning and coordination played a great part in making this a successful project for the owner. Daily business activities were maintained even though there was limited access during construction.

Christian Academy of Knoxville Cafeteria

The George W. Reagan Company was selected as the contractor for the construction of the new cafeteria by competitive bid. The project consisted of a new pre-engineered building with brick masonry exterior walls and an architectural standing seam roof. GWR worked with the architect and the owner in order to reduce the cost of construction and still maintain a fully functional facility. Challenges such as the new cafeteria’s close proximity to other buildings, the safety of the students during construction, and the on set of winter weather were overcome and the project finished on time and in budget.

Cumberland Fellowship Baptist Church

George W. Reagan Company was contracted as a design/builder for Cumberland Fellowship after the church had contracted with another design/build firm. As the project cost increased and the building aesthetics decreased, Pastor Hank Jones realized he had a problem since he had promised his growing congregation that ground would be broken for some time. Working together with the design team that we brought to the table, we established trust with the church and we developed an attractive (yet cost effective) building. Utilizing design input from our subcontractors, George W. Reagan Company and Falconnier Design Company joined together to produce an innovative building solution for the church. The building features include R-30 simple saver insulation, standing seam metal roof panels, MBCI flat wall panels, recycled carpet tiles, and full glass sectional overhead doors used as window elements.

First Baptist Powell

The George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the New Family Life Center for First Baptist Church, Powell by negotiation. George W. Reagan Company met with the owner and the design team in order to establish the budget and to provide input on the type of materials to use for construction. After several meetings, it was determined that a hybrid of pre-engineered and structural steel would be the most economical construction type in order to meet the church’s budget and space needs. The construction consists of reinforced concrete slab on grade and decks, masonry block, pre-engineered building components, structural steel beams and columns, steel joists, steel roof deck, mechanically seamed standing seam roof, and EPDM roofing. Exterior elevations include insulation finish system and masonry brick veneer in order to match the existing campus. Interior finishes include, sport flooring, wood look vinyl plank, ceramic tile, vinyl tile, carpet, and epoxy floor coatings.

Blairland Baptist Church

George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the Blairland Baptist Church Family Life Center by negotiation. After setting the budget early in the project, George W. Reagan Company met with subcontractors, vendors and the design team in order to discuss value engineered solutions and “bring the project in” under budget. This building combines pre-engineered building components (clear span main frames and mechanically seamed metal roof), wood roof trusses and wood stick framing in order to provide a functional, yet attractive structure. The building addressed the church’s need for a larger meeting space, additional educational space, fellowship hall including a large kitchen, and recreational basketball / sport court. By utilizing brick and painted split faced concrete masonry units, the exterior of the blends with the existing campus. Interior finishes consist of a wood look vinyl plank, vinyl tile, carpet, and painted gypsum board.
