True Light Church

George W. Reagan The George W. Reagan Company was selected as the general contractor for True Light Missionary Baptist Church through negotiated means in order to “fast track” the project. Despite the difficulty of a tight budget and property restraints, the project was completed on time and within budget. The construction consists of reinforced concrete slab on grade, masonry support wall, wood framing and trusses, wood roof deck, masonry block and brick, dimensional asphalt shingle roofing, aluminum storefront and exterior insulation finish system. The interior includes wood running trims, epoxy flooring, vinyl tile, and recycled carpet tile.

Cumberland Fellowship Baptist Church

George W. Reagan Company was contracted as a design/builder for Cumberland Fellowship after the church had contracted with another design/build firm. As the project cost increased and the building aesthetics decreased, Pastor Hank Jones realized he had a problem since he had promised his growing congregation that ground would be broken for some time. Working together with the design team that we brought to the table, we established trust with the church and we developed an attractive (yet cost effective) building. Utilizing design input from our subcontractors, George W. Reagan Company and Falconnier Design Company joined together to produce an innovative building solution for the church. The building features include R-30 simple saver insulation, standing seam metal roof panels, MBCI flat wall panels, recycled carpet tiles, and full glass sectional overhead doors used as window elements.

First Baptist Powell

The George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the New Family Life Center for First Baptist Church, Powell by negotiation. George W. Reagan Company met with the owner and the design team in order to establish the budget and to provide input on the type of materials to use for construction. After several meetings, it was determined that a hybrid of pre-engineered and structural steel would be the most economical construction type in order to meet the church’s budget and space needs. The construction consists of reinforced concrete slab on grade and decks, masonry block, pre-engineered building components, structural steel beams and columns, steel joists, steel roof deck, mechanically seamed standing seam roof, and EPDM roofing. Exterior elevations include insulation finish system and masonry brick veneer in order to match the existing campus. Interior finishes include, sport flooring, wood look vinyl plank, ceramic tile, vinyl tile, carpet, and epoxy floor coatings.

Blairland Baptist Church

George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the Blairland Baptist Church Family Life Center by negotiation. After setting the budget early in the project, George W. Reagan Company met with subcontractors, vendors and the design team in order to discuss value engineered solutions and “bring the project in” under budget. This building combines pre-engineered building components (clear span main frames and mechanically seamed metal roof), wood roof trusses and wood stick framing in order to provide a functional, yet attractive structure. The building addressed the church’s need for a larger meeting space, additional educational space, fellowship hall including a large kitchen, and recreational basketball / sport court. By utilizing brick and painted split faced concrete masonry units, the exterior of the blends with the existing campus. Interior finishes consist of a wood look vinyl plank, vinyl tile, carpet, and painted gypsum board.

Hillcrest Baptist Church Family Life Center

George W. Reagan Company was awarded the contract for the Hillcrest Baptist Church Family Life Center by negotiation. The building committee realized the value of George W. Reagan Company’s experience with the building type. A tight budget was set early in the project allowing the owner, designer and contractor to work together in order to meet the set budget. The building includes pre-engineered building components (clear span main frames and mechanically seamed metal roof) as well as, wood roof trusses and wood stick framing. The interior features a raised platform/stage area, full gymnasium, educational classrooms, and a full service kitchen. The exterior of the building blends brick (allows the new construction to blend with the existing campus) and block masonry with synthetic stucco. Interior finishes consist of a wood look vinyl plank, vinyl tile, carpet, and painted gypsum board.

Highland Park Baptist Church

George W. Reagan Company was selected as the contractor for Highland Park Baptist Church by negotiation. The meeting room addition includes a masonry block retaining wall, pre-engineered wood floor trusses, pre-engineered wood roof trusses, and metal stud interior walls. The interior finishes consist of painted gypsum board interior walls, painted block masonry exterior walls, carpet, factory finished wood doors, VCT, ceramic tile, and heat welded sheet vinyl. The exterior of the building blends painted block masonry with synthetic stucco. The building was placed on a portion of the site which was thought to be unusable.

Hardin Valley Church of Christ

George W. Reagan Company was selected as the contractor for Hardin Valley Church of Christ via competitive bid. The transitional multiuse facility includes a clearspan pre-engineered building with a mechanically seamed metal roof. Wood roof trusses and wood stick framing create an attractive, yet functional entrance. The interior raised platform/stage ceiling is an aesthetically pleasing focal point in the main fellowship hall. The exterior of the building blends painted block masonry with synthetic stucco. The space features a full gymnasium, raised platform/stage, baptistery, educational classrooms, a future full service kitchen, and administration/support offices. Interior finishes consist of wood grain vinyl composition tile, carpet, and painted gypsum board.

Northstar Church

George W. Reagan Company was selected as the contractor for Northstar Church by negotiation. The sprung structure building is one of only two in the Knoxville area. The facility includes aluminum substructure, architectural membrane, and insulated cross section. Trust was a required part of this project for all parties involved. GWR allowed the Church to participate in various portions of the work including erection of the sprung building. The space features a large aesthetically pleasing auditorium, a raised platform/stage, educational classrooms, a concession area, and administration/support offices. Interior finishes consist of stained concrete floors, carpet, and painted gypsum board.

Knoxville Christian School

George W. Reagan Company was selected as the contractor for Knoxville Christian High School via competitive bid. The facility includes a clearspan pre-engineered building with a mechanically seamed architectural metal roof. The exterior of the building blends painted block masonry with synthetic stucco. The space features radius walls, large conference rooms, a chemistry lab, educational classrooms, and administration/support offices. Interior finishes consist of ceramic tile, vinyl composition tile, carpet, and painted gypsum board.

Corryton Church Connector

The George W. Reagan Company was selected as the general contractor for the Corryton Church Connector by competitive bid. Work was completed at multiple locations on the campus without disrupting scheduled Church activities. The project features two large cantilever canopies. Exterior finishes include insulation finish system, painted block masonry, aluminum storefront, architectural standing seam roof, EPDM roof, and sun shades. Interior finishes include ceramic tile, carpet tile, corrugated metal ceiling, and a painted gypsum board ceiling cloud.
